![]() We've been feeling overwhelmed by the dread of the direction we a moving in. My Oracle has been a source of comfort and solace during this time, but silence is not helping anyone. We will be using this tiny platform to speak out with. Feline Oracle is committed to the resistance. While we fight for a brighter future, we must take special care of each other. Our communities must sustain us and we them. So, as we go about this change, we will remind you: We need to start buying local when we can. Artists, performers, writers, and makers of all kinds are in need. Go to local shows, bars, and restaurants. These people are at the heart of what makes civilization beautiful. When the time comes to celebrate, they will make us ready and give us the space, in all our wondrous, glorious cacophonous splendor, to begin our great work, to meet the potential of the dream we all share. We will be suggesting small businesses—mainly black, queer, and women owned and operated—that deserve your consideration. We encourage you to comment with some of your favorite small businesses! Let's all join together in support of the beautiful diversity and strength in our local communities. Stay safe, and remember: You are seen, you are chosen, and you are loved. — Jessica Cohen, creator, artist, and owner of Feline Oracle.
