HOW TO GET YOUR CAT INTERESTED IN DIVINATION

But as every cat owner knows, no two cats are exactly the same. Where some cats seem like natural born Oracles, others familiars may need a little encouragement to start dispensing kitty wisdom. If your cat seems a little distracted during readings, here's a few tips to get your furry friend in the divining mood.

1. Hold readings in your cat’s favorite places: Take your blanket or runes to someplace your Oracle spends a lot of time. Some good spots might be the living room floor, the couch, or even your own bed. 
2. Hold a reading in the sunlight: For a cozier experience for both you and your cat, try setting up your blanket or runes near a window on a sunny day. 
3. Warm your spirit blanket in the dryer: If you’re working with a Spirit Blanket, try throwing it in the dryer for a few minutes to warm it up to create an even cozier board for your Oracle to work with. Our Spirit Blanket is dryer safe, but we recommend keeping your machine on a delicate setting just in case.
4. Act aloof: Remember, there’s nothing cat’s love more than getting into things they’re not supposed to. Try setting up your divination tools and staring at them, pretending you don’t even notice your cat. If your cat’s anything like mine, they won’t be able to help themselves from sticking their nose in your business.
